Popular A General Affidavit is a written sworn statement about certain facts. The Affidavit allows the person that is making the sworn declaration (known as the Declarant) to make certain statements in written form under oath. The Declarant then signs the Affidavit and can also have it notarized.

Affidavits are sometimes used in certain court proceedings in place of in person testimony when the Declarant is unavailable to testify in person before the court. They can also be used to verify that the information found on another document is truthful.

This package includes two versions of the General Affidavit: a regular Affidavit requiring only a signature as well as a version that can be notarized.
